I really liked the layout you used to write your notes. The colors highlighted the characters you were going to write about and that made it easy to see what was important on the page. You covered all the areas (characters, phrases, grammar, sentences, summarizing, and questions) and it was all very neat and easy to understand. Also, I liked how you cited a page from the text book as a reference. The only thing I can think of that could be added is more sentences using 一下 so that whoever is looking at the notes has more examples and maybe how 一下 relates to Chinese culture. I think you project was very well done and it would have helped me if I had been absent from class.

CVMONKEE comments: Sophia, I thought that your idea of highlighting the different characters made it very easy to follow and was a great way to show their usage in a sentence. The way that you identified each characters meaning and pinyin was also very easy to read because of the way you set it up in your notes. Another thing is that you had great phrases. It was great how you made phrases by using more than one of the characters you showed in the top part and combined them together to make a phrase. I'm also glad that you put page numbers in your notes because it can be very helpful to be able to refer back to our textbook. Your grammar notes were also very useful. One thing that I would change is that it may help if you translated the sentence that you wrote on the top of your notes. Overall, I thought that your notes very very well done. Wonderful job Sophia!
